Katrina
Morrow's Speech at the MLK Rally
I was in County Prison when the towers fell and I feel
that my incarceration and the Prison System of America
reflects part of the 911 agenda.
There are many dimensions as to why 911 happened; but
I want to focus on the heroine element that directly
effects people on the streets of America. Heroine is
what funded the industrial revolution. The British Empire
went into indigenous natives’ lands and forced
Mayan and Asian framers to grow less food and more opium.
As a result, the money generated from this plant created
the Suburbia Cultural of freeways, shopping malls and
an epoch of commercial consumerism that hit middle class
families within this Suburbia Cultural, while the original
indigenous people where manipulated into a penury of
addiction and thus the prison system sprouted up in
place of indigenous cultural.
Now you can see who induces the drug war upon not only
the indigenous people, but also here in America at present.
A fraction of 911 is supporting the drug war and the
prison system that impacts millions of Americas, 98%
of the inmates having non-violent drug charges. Most
prisoners are colored and poor and cannot afford the
high tuition in America. President Bush released opium
farmers from Afghan prisons after the towers fell, and
told the farmers to start their opium harvest again.
As a result, there is opium flourishing all over Baghdad
when Baghdad never had a drug problem. There are also
conduits of heroine coming Afghanistan into the streets
of America.
My point today is to object to the drug war that is
partly being fostered by 911 and to raise a conscious
voice for the millions of Americans impacted by this
drug trade that funds Wall Street, automobile empires
and major news papers.
While prisoners should be held for their own personal
choices, the cartel government that profits off drugs
that effects prisoners’ choices should not hold
prisoners responsible for their addictions and their
incarcerations. How could prisoners make sound choices
with their lives when the corporate media has a long
history of misinforming the public about covert operations
such as the drug trade and its criminal revenue plan?
Another lie that supports the drug conduits from Afghanistan
and 911 is the fact that the Bush Administration was
spying on the UN in order to push for an occupation
in the Middle East. The New York Times got the leak
on the spying of the UN and just sat on the story for
a year. They didn’t publish the spying story until
after Bush was re-elected. The political remissness
of fueling money into the poorer communities of America
is evidence that prisoners of the drug war are not fully
responsible for their addictions and incarceration.
We do not live in a democracy.
